I’m an #SBS Winner – Recognised by Theo Paphitis!

I’m absolutely delighted (and still a bit stunned) to share that I’ve been named one of Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday (#SBS) winners!

For those who might not be familiar, #SBS is a fantastic initiative run by entrepreneur and former Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis.

Every week, he handpicks just a handful of small businesses from across the UK who stand out for their passion, creativity and dedication – and this week, he chose me.

Yes, me!

Cue some happy screams so high pitched that I think only my dogs could hear it!

Why it means so much

Running a small business is a rollercoaster. It’s equal parts thrilling and terrifying, especially when your work is as personal as mine.

My mission has always been to help people see themselves the way the world sees them: confident, capable, and entirely worthy of being visible.

Whether I’m photographing a personal brand session or creating a portrait that lights someone up from the inside out, it’s all about capturing authenticity and helping people feel at ease in their own skin.

Being recognised for that ethos, by someone as influential and respected as Theo Paphitis, is a huge vote of confidence in the work I do.

It’s more than a lovely badge of honour; it’s a signal that what I believe in and what I’m building truly matters.

Theo’s Post!

When I saw he tagged me, I was expecting just a “Thank you for entering the awards” - not to be named as a winner!

Standing among giants

Looking through the list of fellow #SBS winners, I was completely blown away.

The creativity, innovation and dedication among this community is extraordinary.

To be counted among such high-calibre businesses is honestly a bit surreal, and also a real push to keep going, keep growing, and keep showing up.

There’s something incredibly energising about being recognised not just for what you do, but for what you stand for!

This win isn’t just about me; it’s about the amazing clients I’ve worked with, the stories I’ve had the privilege to capture, and the confidence I’ve seen grow on the other side of the lens.

What’s next?

Aside from a moment of not-so-quiet celebration, this recognition gives my business even more momentum.

I’ll now be part of the #SBS community, with access to events, support and a wider network of incredible entrepreneurs.

It’s a brilliant opportunity to continue growing, learning and collaborating!

So watch this space: There’s lots more to come, and if we haven’t worked together yet, now might be the perfect time to start your own confidence-boosting branding journey.

Thank you

To everyone who’s been part of my business journey, so far: thank you!

Your support has helped me grow a business that’s grounded in care, creativity, and purpose.

Onwards and upwards!
